“The M-Pact® with MultiCam® transitional camouflage features a Thermoplastic Rubber knuckle guard and dedicated finger guards to reduce impact and abrasion injuries in the field. The dual-layer internal fingertip construction reinforces the thumb and index finger for improved abrasion resistance, while the embossed fingertip pattern improves feel and overall dexterity. D3O® palm padding absorbs and dissipates high-impact energy and vibration when you’re fully engaged so you can maintain your focus.” – Mechanix®
This glove has served me well over the years and I love the rubber knuckle design. It keeps my knuckles safe from nicks and cuts, but doesn’t limit mobility like similar carbon fiber/ plastic knuckle designs.
The palm of the glove provides good grip, even in inclement weather, and the back of the glove is made from Mechanix own TrekDry® material keeping your hands cool and dry.
“The Original® glove revolutionized the hand protection industry with its versatile design and has faithfully served its users ever since. Durable synthetic leather extends the life of the glove and form-fitting TrekDry® material with MultiCam® camouflage helps keep hands cool and comfortable in any environment. Keep your gloves secure to your gear or pack with the nylon cord loop positioned beneath each wrist. The Original® provides unmatched fit, feel and functionality so you can focus on what lies down range.” – Mechanix®
This is the glove found in every store across America, and for good reason.
This glove is by far the most widely used glove and can be found everywhere from an operator’s gear bag, to a mechanic’s toolbox, to even in use by gardeners.
The single layer palm makes this glove extremely flexible and tight fitting. It also keeps your hands dry and cool, while still providing excellent grip in inclement weather.
